She received her Master’s in Public Health from Emory University in Global Health with a concentration in Sexual and Reproductive Health and Maternal and Child Health. She also received her Bachelor of Science in Biology with a concentration in Global Health from the University of Wisconsin-Madison. Before working at Northwestern, Chariesse was working on a CDC-funded multisite grant that focused on HIV Prevention in the LGBTQIA+ community in Chicago, Atlanta and San Diego through improved PrEP messaging and medication adherence. When not working, Chariesse enjoys dancing, teaching Zumba classes, going to brunch with friends and watching Harry Potter for the 100th time.
