Yadira Estrada, MSW

Research Study Assistant

Yadira Estrada is a Research Study Assistant with the Mothers and Babies team. She earned her Master of Social Work and Bachelor of Science in Biopsychology, Cognition, and Neuroscience from the University of Michigan. Yadira is passionate about supporting positive health and mental health outcomes for children and families. Before joining Northwestern, she worked with the University of Pittsburgh’s Community Research Exploring Adolescent Resilience (CREAR) Lab to examine the role of culturally salient factors among Latinos in shaping psychological outcomes in high-violence contexts across Latin America and the United States. In her free time, Yadira enjoys hiking, trying new restaurants, and being with friends and family.
