Mothers and Babies Program Implementation and Sustainment Evaluation (MB-PISE)

The Mothers and Babies Program (MB) is an evidence-based intervention effective in reducing stress, depression, and anxiety in the perinatal period. As service providers across the United States seek training and support on using Mothers and Babies to support their families, we are conducting research to evaluate the implementation and effectiveness of Mothers and Babies during its “real world implementation.” Implementation surveys are administered at 12-, 24-, and 36-months after providers are trained on Mothers and Babies. Effectiveness data is obtained via client de-identified data on depressive symptoms and other mental health outcomes provided to the Northwestern University research team by implementing sites.
